Actually it is so true that there are many children below poverty line and starvation is rampant in many countries. There are many NGOS that are striving towards eradicating this. But it is not reaching the right person.

They should remember that even if they could parcel the left over after finishing their meals at a fine dining restaurant and hand it over to the poor children begging around, that it self could be a good start to overcome the issue of child starvation specifically in the developing countries.

This reminds me of my tour to one of the Asian countries when while returning from dinner everytime I use to get the left over food parceled and use to move around the streets to find beggers specifically children to hand over them the food. The smile that I could see on their faces use to give me immense satisfaction and sense of fullness which the dinner could not give.

Apart from Corporate Social Responsibility each citizen of these nations who specifically are well off should think of taking responsibility of feeding at least one such starving kid either directly or through NGO’s working in this field. This I strongly think will elimiate child starvation in such countries.

I believe that a time like this has never come before, that we can know and find a way to face these problems. In the past violence existed and nothing could done, not even think it could be done.
So we need to find this positive feeling inside ourselves that this human maturity is progressing.
